The large balance pad has worked very well for me. It is great for working the core and leg musckes - especially the lower leg,feet and ankle muscles. Years ago, I suffered permanent damage to my lower legs and ankles because of some medication I was given by a doctor. A physician attending me for another matter overheard me mentioning that I couldn't walk a straightline because of it and prescribed physical rehabilitation. A large portion of my rehabilitation was spent upon a balance pad which proved so effective that I purchased one as soon as I had completed rehab so that I could coninue the exercises.
